Researching Switzerland

It is important to get as much information as possible when planning for a trip. Some girls put more time into deciding on their next pair of shoes than planning their overseas trip, but I promise it will be worth your time to do a little extra research. For example, I was planning a trip to Switzerland and according to my work schedule and flight prices February seemed like the best choice. However, before booking my ticket, my travel friend and I decided to do a little research.

1. Emailed a friend…apparently Switzerland pretty much closes down until late spring. No problem we’ll ski!

2. Face-booked a friend that works on the slopes and did some price checking…skiing would be fun for a day or two but could be really expensive for a whole week. Maybe we could walk around Zurich or one of the main cities.

3. Researched weather conditions on-line…it was going to be darn cold.
